Method
- Source: every comment and post title containing "deep sleep" in r/sleep, r/whoop, r/ouraring, r/fitbit, r/Nootropics, r/EightSleep.
- A report is one person saying what one thing did to their own deep sleep. Advice, questions and reports that credit several changes at once are left out.
- One report per Reddit account per thing. Accounts that post the same thing four times or more, and comments with an outside link, are left out. The table lists things with 5 reports or more.
- Tracker = the person gave tracker figures, named a tracker, or posted in r/whoop or r/ouraring.
- "No alcohol", "No late meal" and "No caffeine" also count reports of the opposite: alcohol lowering deep sleep counts as up for "No alcohol".
- People who post are not a sample of people who tried. Wearable deep sleep is an estimate.
